The Musical Passport
A keepsake your child fills in themselves, one artist at a time.
The Musical Passport is a printable music journal where children track the artists they discover, rate the music they hear, and collect a stamp for every genre along the way.
Each time your family meets a new artist, whether through A Year of Music or your own listening, your child logs it here. By December, it isn't a workbook anymore. It's a record, in their own handwriting, of a whole year of listening.
Each entry gives your child room to record
- Artist: who they discovered
- Date: when they discovered them
- Rating: how much they loved it
- Stamp: a space to mark the genre
Paired with A Year of Music, children cut out the genre stamp from each weekly study and add it to their passport as they go, building a visual trail through the whole year.
Perfect for
- homeschool families
- music appreciation
- morning basket time
- tea time listening
- car ride music exploration
Works two ways
Use it alongside A Year of Music for a built-in tracking system, or on its own with any artist studies or family listening you're already doing.
Format
Printable PDF download. Print and staple into a small booklet, or slot the pages into a binder.
A keepsake, not a workbook. The kind of thing you find in a drawer years from now and remember exactly what that year sounded like.

What Families Are Saying
"This has become the favorite part of our week. We listen, we dance and talk about the music together" - Nicole, Mom of 3
Loved by Homeschool Families
"We loved learning about Vivaldi last week! I especially love that the program explores many different styles of music instead of staying in one genre." - Allie, Homeschooling Mom
